Crystal River & Homosassa

Welcome to the beautiful area of Citrus County otherwise known as the Nature Coast. The Crystal River and Homosassa area is home to many deer, wild pigs, coyotes, raccoons, alligators, manatees and many different types of birds just to name a few, and all can be seen on any given day on a boat ride through our many beautiful water systems.

Citrus County is home to the Homosassa, Crystal and Salt Rivers - all of which can produce a number of different fish species year round.

Speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead, shark, spanish mackerel, grouper, flounder, cobia, mangrove snapper, and tarpon are just a few of the many species of fish that inhabit our local waters. Each fish offers the angler a unique experience both in the fighting style as well as the area in which we peruse these fish. Gin clear flats and mazes of creeks and cuts are home to many of the local species, making sight casting to fish an easy and exciting test of an angler's ability.
